An awesome effort by Bob Moller hoisted the Colorado Sox (1-1) to a 1-0 win over the Conejo Oaks (0-2) on Thursday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.
The Colorado Sox's Moller kept the Conejo Oaks off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up seven.
Jason Plowman couldn't get it done on the hill for the Conejo Oaks, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
