The Colorado Sox (0-1) failed to take advantage of great day from Braden Ham on Tuesday, losing 1-0 to the Nevada Griffons (1-0) at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.
Ham allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out six over nine innings of work.
Tommy Bush improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Nevada Griffons. Bush struck out seven, walked one and gave up four hits.
Ham ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
