The Chillicothe Paints (30-20) weren't able to come back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the Slippery Rock Sliders (19-31), and the Chillicothe Paints lost 5-4 to the Slippery Rock Sliders after falling behind by five runs in the third inning.

The Chillicothe Paints scored on a three-run home run by Giancarlo Brugnoni in the fifth inning and an RBI single by Trace Dempsey in the seventh inning. Still, the Chillicothe Paints couldn't catch the Slippery Rock Sliders.

Trent Wooldridge racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Slippery Rock Sliders. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth innings.

Brugnoni racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Chillicothe Paints.

Keenan White put together a nice outing. White gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Josh Tinnon improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Slippery Rock Sliders. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out two, walked four and surrendered seven hits.

Will Nimke was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
