Steven Beckham kept the Olean (0-1) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Niagara (1-0) beat the Olean, 4-0.

Beckham allowed four hits, three walks and struck out six.

Adam Taylor put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Niagara. He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the fourth and eighth innings.

Mike Tolsma was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just eight innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
