The Road Warriors (8-23) were never able to get over the hump and overcome their troubles against the Rockford RiverHawks (38-53) on Tuesday, as the Road Warriors fell 7-5 at RiverHawks Stadium after falling behind by four runs in the eighth inning.

The Road Warriors scored two runs in the ninth on a two-run single by Cody Coffman. Still, the Road Warriors couldn't draw even.

Matt Greener racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Rockford RiverHawks. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Mike Schwartz led the Road Warriors' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the sixth inning.

Kyle Schepel recorded his fourth win of the year for the Rockford RiverHawks. He allowed three runs over six innings. Schepel struck out three, walked six and gave up three hits.

Sheng-An Kuo couldn't get it done on the bump for the Road Warriors, taking a loss. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
