Scott Dunn kept the Road Warriors (2-4) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Traverse City Beach Bums (42-24) beat the Road Warriors, 3-0.

Dunn allowed four hits, one walk and struck out six.

Marcus Nidiffer put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He doubled in the second inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Shawn Marquardt couldn't get it done on the bump for the Road Warriors, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed one run.

The Traverse City Beach Bums were sparked by Nidiffer and Sean Gusrang, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.
