The Cotuit Kettleers come from behind to beat the Brewster Whitecaps, 10-9

The Cotuit Kettleers (25-12) trailed by six in the third, but the Cotuit Kettleers recovered thanks to a key single in the sixth inning from Tony Kemp to pull out a 10-9 win in eight innings over the Brewster Whitecaps (14-22) at Lowell Park on Wednesday.

With the Cotuit Kettleers trailing by one in the sixth inning, Kemp came to the plate and singled, scoring James Roberts and Patrick Biondi.

Kemp racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Cotuit Kettleers. He singled in the sixth inning.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 19 runs and 22 hits, including zero extra base hits. Both bullpens were busy with 10 pitchers used in the game as the skippers of both squads tried to finish it off.

Roberts racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Cotuit Kettleers. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.

Ryan Connolly had an impressive outing against the Brewster Whitecaps' lineup. Connolly gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Erik Schoenrock couldn't get it done on the bump for the Brewster Whitecaps, taking a loss. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
