The Vienna River Dogs (23-18) took down the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts 11-5 on Tuesday at Blair Stadium after slamming the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (9-33) with six runs in the sixth inning.

Johnny Bladel racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Vienna River Dogs. He singled in the third and fourth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

Jake Taylor racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts. He homered in the first inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Even though Josh Herzenberg allowed five runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. He struck out six, walked one and surrendered 11 hits.

Taylor Topping (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 11 runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out five.
