Austin Barr went 2-3 and hit a home run, sparking the Corvallis Knights (2-0) to a 4-0 victory in seven innings over the Portland Ports (0-2) on Sunday at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

Carlos Rodriguez brought the heat against the Portland Ports during his outing. Rodriguez held the Portland Ports hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out two.

Andrew Schenk had an impressive outing against the Corvallis Knights' lineup. The Corvallis Knights managed just two hits off of Schenk, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Austin Gallagher ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
