Both the Wellsville (15-24) and the Rochester (AIA (15-24) put runners aboard on Sunday, but it was the Wellsville that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 3-2 win.

The Rochester (AIA scored on a sacrifice fly by Kolbe Andrade in the fifth inning and a fielder's choice in the seventh inning. Unfortunately, the Rochester (AIA weren't able to take the lead back.

Chris May racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Wellsville. He homered in the first inning.

The Wellsville relied on Stephen Silvestri to eat up innings en route to the win. Silvestri allowed two earned runs, eight hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Patrick Woerner couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Rochester (AIA, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
