The Angels AAA (2-3) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 2-1 to the Dodgers AAA (5-0) on Wednesday.

The Dodgers AAA took the lead in the sixth inning on a sacrifice fly by Rick Martin.

Hayden Sormaz was solid at the plate for the Dodgers AAA. Sormaz went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Trent Barr picked up the win for the Dodgers AAA. Barr pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out five.

Axel Christofferson couldn't get it done on the bump for the Angels AAA, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
