Scot Rahal drove in the winning run to give the Rockies AA (2-1) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Rockies AA hung on to beat the Giants AA (1-1) 5-3 on Friday.

Aidan Peacock doubled to start the sixth. He then went from second to third. Finally, Rahal came to the plate with the score tied at three, and singled, scoring Peacock and Jaryd McClocklin.

Mark Freeman got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the second, fourth, and fifth innings.

Tyler Schmidt got the win for the Rockies AA thanks to seven strikeouts. Schmidt allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks over seven innings.

Braydon Hanson (0-1) took the loss for the Giants AA. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

The Rockies AA's Peacock, Freeman and McClocklin combined for six hits and two RBIs.
