The Dodgers AAA (2-0) and the Indians AAA (0-2) passed the lead back and forth six times on Thursday at Optimist #4, but in the end the Dodgers AAA pulled out a 9-7 win in seven innings over the Indians AAA.

The Dodgers AAA staved off the Indians AAA as the Indians AAA were unable to match the Dodgers AAA down the stretch.

The Indians AAA scored on a two-run home run by Mitchell McGeein in the sixth inning and a hit by pitch in the seventh inning. Still, the Indians AAA couldn't draw even.

Ross McKinnon racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Dodgers AAA. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Luc Pust racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Indians AAA.

Nick Hutchison got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed four runs over five innings. Hutchison struck out three, walked seven and gave up five hits.

Scott Klassen ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in three innings, walked four and struck out one.
