Kyle Danford went 2-5, helping the Hornell (19-7) to a 6-2 victory over the Rochester (AIA (8-16) on Friday at Webster.

Steven Dooley racked up six strikeouts in the the Hornell win. Dooley allowed two earned runs, five hits and four walks over seven innings.

Trevor Keele reached base three times in the game for the Rochester (AIA. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Zac Goodno (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
