An ace performance by Cody Tillotson lifted the Acadiana Cane Cutters (14-14) to a 7-2 win in seven innings over the Alexandria Aces on Monday at Fabacher Field.

Tillotson got the win for the Acadiana Cane Cutters thanks to 15 strikeouts. Tillotson allowed two earned runs on two hits and three walks over seven innings.

Gabe Woods went a perfect 4-4 at the plate for the Acadiana Cane Cutters. He singled in the second, third, fourth, and sixth innings.

Rene Moreda racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Alexandria Aces (12-16). He singled in the sixth and seventh innings.

Jacob Rodrigue (1-2) took the loss for the Alexandria Aces. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
