Mikal Hill went 3-3 at the plate, helping the Youses Orioles (20-20) to a 1-0 victory over the Vienna River Dogs (23-18) on Thursday at Bachman Park.
He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.Kevin Mooney put together a nice outing. Mooney held the Vienna River Dogs hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked five and struck out six.
Jarred Bronley (1-2) took the loss for the Vienna River Dogs. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
