Parks Jordan went 2-4, helping the Baltimore Redbirds (28-13) to a 6-2 victory over the D.C. Grays (18-21) on Thursday at Calvert Hall HS.

John Gatlin looked sharp on the mound. The D.C. Grays managed just two hits off of Gatlin, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Mike Genovese led the D.C. Grays' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning.

Joel Castillo (3-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
