The Alexandria Aces (20-23) and the Acadiana Cane Cutters (20-22) passed the lead back and forth eight times on Wednesday at Bringhurst Field, but in the end the Alexandria Aces pulled out an 8-7 win over the Acadiana Cane Cutters.
Stryker Brown reached base four times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first and seventh innings.
Gabe Woods racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Acadiana Cane Cutters. He singled in the third, seventh, and eighth innings.
