The Medicine Hat Mavericks (23-12) and the Moose Jaw Miller Express (16-18) passed the lead back and forth four times on Monday at Ross Wells Park, but in the end the Medicine Hat Mavericks pulled out an 8-5 win over the Moose Jaw Miller Express.

Bryan Arthur had two extra-base hits for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the first and seventh innings.

Michael Corso racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He singled in the third, fifth, and eighth innings.

Austin Park got the win, running his season record to 3-0. Park struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Terry McNabb couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Moose Jaw Miller Express, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out four.
