The Guelph Royals (12-13) outlasted the Ottawa Fat Cats (13-14) on Saturday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 4-3 win at David E. Hastings Stadium.
Sean Reilly had a hot bat for the Guelph Royals. Reilly went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the eighth inning.
David Hatt improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Guelph Royals. He allowed three runs over eight innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered 10 hits.
Matt Hummel (3-1) took the loss for the Ottawa Fat Cats. He lasted just eight innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
