Things looked bleak for the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts (8-16) when they trailed by four runs in the seventh inning, but the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts recovered thanks to a key solo blast in the eleventh inning from Jake Taylor to pull out an 8-7 win in 11 innings over the Rockville Express (14-8) at Montgmery College.

With the score tied at seven in the eleventh inning, Taylor came to the plate and homered.

Taylor reached base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the eleventh inning.

The Rockville Express' lineup had no answer for Taylor Topping. The Rockville Express managed just three hits off of the the Silver Spring Takoma T Bolts' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his four innings of work.

Ryan Donkin was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
