The Rochester (AIA's Goodno comes through in the clutch, upends the Niagara, 6-5

Zac Goodno drove in the go-ahead run to give the Rochester (AIA (9-18) the lead in the sixth inning, as the Rochester (AIA hung on to beat the Niagara (13-15) 6-5 on Monday.

With the score tied at four in the sixth inning, Goodno came to the plate and reached on an error, bringing home Nick Flanagan.

The Rochester (AIA would not relinquish the lead as the Niagara were unable to weather a two-run sixth inning deficit.

The Niagara scored one run in the seventh on a fielder's choice. Despite their efforts, the Niagara couldn't get over the hump.

Joel Belk racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Rochester (AIA. He doubled in the first inning.

Garrett Gooding got his first win for the Rochester (AIA despite allowing five runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Rick Hubbard was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out six.
