Stehn comes to the AWL after batting .423 in the 2015 Texas Winter League. Stehn’s average was the third highest in the league, and he tied for the league lead in RBIs (19) and led the league in hits (22). Second in runs scored (20) and triples (4). Also hit a home run and stole nine bases while fanning only six times in 52 at bats.

Stehn played 3 weeks professionally in July of 2014 in the Pecos League with the Bisbee Blue in Bisbee, Arizona, where he hit .423. Was nicknamed “Warren Ballpark” by the spectators; quickly becoming a crowd favorite for his hustle and play.

Stehn played his senior year in college at nationally ranked USAO (University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma) where he had a batting avg. of .415 which led the team and ranked 19th nationally.  He posted a .613 slugging %, and a .482 On-base % with 13 doubles and 5 Homeruns. He led the team to the playoffs, falling one game short of a World Series berth.  His .415 avg. was the 2nd highest single season avg. in the school’s history. Stehn’s season was highlighted by a 24-game hitting streak.

He played D-I Junior College baseball at Galveston College and with Lon Morris College, where he posted a .459 and .409 batting averages, respectively. Stehn was named Defensive player and tournament MVP in Galveston, while earning the Silver slugger, MVP, as well as Defensive player of the year at Lon Morris.
