Bio: Had a career 10.6 K/9 in three minor league seasons… Took third-round bonus money to sign with the Royals and bypass playing for Texas Christian University...Drafted in the 16th round by the Kansas City Royals out of St. Thomas High School (TX) in 2012… At one point went 32 straight innings without allowing a run...Went 6-0 as a senior with a 0.39 ERA with 95 strikeouts and 23 walks...All-State and All-American...Selected as a member of the 2011 Perfect Game/Rawlings All-American Team and pitched one scoreless inning for the West with two strikeouts and no hits at Petco Park.
