Denker was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 21st round of the 2003 MLB Amateur Draft out of Brea Olinda High School, in Brea, California.
He played in the major leagues in 2008 with the San Francisco Giants. While with the Giants Denker played 24 games, making 42 plate appearances, with 9 hits, 1 HR, and 3 RBI, while posting a .243 average.
Denker will be entering his 12th season in professional baseball. He has played in the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, Boston Red Sox, San Diego Padres, and Seattle Mariners organizations.
In 2012 Denker made his independent baseball debut with the Lancaster Barnstormers in the Atlantic League. He also played with the Barnstormers in 2013 making appearances in 136 games, posting a .275 batting average, picking up 140 hits, with 22 home runs, and 79 RBI’s.
