Like just about every other infielder on the Goldpanners’ roster, Ryan Clark has had experience all around the diamond, which makes him yet another moving part. The Male Athlete of the Year as a senior at Clovis West High School in Fresno, Clark hit .429 as the team’s starting shortstop.

That’s where Clark has seen time, in addition to stints at second base and third for the Gauchos of the University of California Santa Barbara. As a student-athlete studying Business Economics, Clark started 23 games as a freshman last year and hit .241 with 14 runs and 12 RBI’s. This year, he made 19 starts for a 34-17 club and posted similar numbers.

From handling the bat, to stealing bags, to playing all over the infield, Clark will contribute in many ways this summer.
