Ingram joins the Beach Bums following six seasons in the Cardinals system. Prior to sitting out 2012 due to injury, D'Marcus split time between the Springfield Cardinals (Texas - AA) and the Palm Beach Cardinals (FSL - A+) during 2011, combining to hit .258 with two homers and nine RBI. His best season came in 2010 when he played in 100 games between Palm Beach and the Quad Cities River Bandits (Midwest - A), hitting .296 with four homeruns, 48 RBI and stealing 22 bases.
Ingram broke in with a bang in 2007, hitting .325 with 17 steals for the Gulf Coast Cardinals. He was the 25th round selection pick of St. Louis in the 2006 MLB draft out of Pensacola State College.
