Kroeger has Major League experience with the Arizona Diamondbacks, appearing in 22 games during the 2004 season.
He also has experience in the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Miami Marlins, Boston Red Sox, and Atlanta Braves organizations, including nine seasons at the Triple-A level.
Kroeger split the 2012 season at the Triple-A level for Atlanta and Boston and combined for a .266 average, 89 hits, 11 home runs, and 37 RBI in 95 games played.
He has not been below the Triple-A level since the 2007 season when he was with the Cubs.
Kroeger has a minor league career .276 batting average, 1,456 hits, 338 doubles, 37 triples, 154 home runs, and 743 RBI.
