Albee Weiss is in his first year with the ThunderBolts and third as a pro in 2021. He joined the team as a free agent on January 21, 2021. Albee's career began when he was a 23rd round selection of the Minnesota Twins in the 2018 amateur draft. He played two seasons for the Twins, appearing in 89 total games and peaking at high-A Fort Myers in 2019.
A four-year starter at Cal State Northridge, Weiss batted .248 in his college career, slugged .454 and hit 42 home runs. He was a Second Team All-Big West Conference selection as a junior and a First Team selection as a senior, when he hit .290 with 20 homers. Albee attended Agoura High School in Agoura Hills, California.
