Christian Morris is in his first year with the ThunderBolts and fifth as a pro in 2019. He joined the ThunderBolts as a free agent on April 19, 2019. His professional career began in 2015, when he was selected in the 33rd round of the Amateur Entry Draft by the New York Yankees. He pitched for four years in the Yankees' system, going 15-15 with a 3.21 ERA in 85 games (32 starts) with time spent in High A Tampa in three separate seasons. Morris pitched for three years at Indiana University and compiled an 11-5 record and 3.68 ERA. His best year was as a sophomore, when he went 6-3 with a 2.04 ERA in 16 games (14 starts). Christian attended Williston High School in Williston, Florida.
