2011 SEASON RECAP
The Beach Bums exercised the option on Zebroski’s contract after he put together a very successful campaign in the 2011 season. After sharing time early in the season he took advantage of an opportunity and earned an everyday spot in the rotation through the second half. Primarily manager Gregg Langbehn used Zebroski at second base but was also utilized at short and third.

Near the end of the season Zebroski put together a 13 game hitting streak spanning from August 12 – August 28 including a three hit game on August 26th against Windy City. He also finished the year hitting .281, tied with JT Hall for second on the team while only Matt Brown hit for higher average at the plate and was second on the team with 15 doubles.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Zebroski was drafted in the 45th round of the 2010 MLB Draft by the Kansas City Royals after finishing his senior season at George Washington University. He was assigned to the Royals rookie affiliate and appeared in 40 games for the Idaho Chukars. Zebroski hit .243 with eight doubles and 18 RBI while defensively sharing time between second and third base.

In his final season at George Washington University, Zebroski led his team as well as the Atlantic-10 Conference with a .429 average and 18 homers. He started all 54 games at shortstop while knocking in 58 runs and was the only player to have more than 100 hits (103) including 15 doubles. He also led the Colonials in 12 other offensive categories including stolen bases with 13. Zebroski was named the 2010 Atlantic-10 Conference Student-Athlete and Player of the Year. He was also honored as the recipient of the J. Dallas Shirley Award which is given annually to the George Washington University Male Athlete of the Year. Zebroski finished his career as the all-time leader in runs (213), at bats (841) and total bases (455).
