The 23-year old lefty from New Jersey spent the past season in the Seattle Mariners’ organization after the M’s signed him as a free agent out of Montclair State.  Before Montclair State, Vitale spent two years with Howard Community College in Florida. Vitale has outstanding control as his three walks in 21 1/3rd innings with the Pulaski Mariners shows.
