Tribby is entering his second professional season after spending 2016 in the Twins organization with rookie-level Elizabethton. The left-hander posted a 5-0 record in 16 relief appearances, along with a 5.40 ERA. In 31.2 innings of work, Tribby struck out 30, while walking 14. The Pittsburgh, Penn., native pitched four years at the University of Missouri prior to his professional career, working mostly out of the bullpen. His best season for the Tigers came as a senior, when he went 3-3 with a 4.78 ERA and two saves. Minnesota selected the 22-year old in the 35th round of the 2016 MLB Draft.
