Alex is in his first year of professional baseball, being fresh out of the University of California - Riverside.

The infielder played four years with the Highlanders where he excelled at second base with a .923 fielding percentage. He graduated in the fall of 2016 where he focused in marketing. 

In his spare time, the California native likes to go the beach and visit his native land of Sweden.
