Saturday was a great day for EDDIE PAYTON, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the OTC Bearcats (5-9) to a 14-2 victory over the Brookhaven Bucks (8-8) at Oglethorpe University in seven innings.

PAYTON racked up six RBIs on three hits for the OTC Bearcats. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third and seventh innings.

The OTC Bearcats blew out the Brookhaven Bucks thanks to 12 hits, including zero extra base hits. The OTC Bearcats scored seven runs in the seventh on a two-run single by CASEY KICKLIGHTER, a triple by TAYLOR JONES, , an RBI single by Gaskins Matthew, a two-run single by TREY NELSON, and a solo home run by PAYTON.

JORDAN DUKES had an impressive outing against the Brookhaven Bucks' lineup. The Brookhaven Bucks managed just three hits off of DUKES, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out three during his five innings of work.

JAY PAGE was hot from the plate for the Brookhaven Bucks. PAGE went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

FORREST GARRETT (3-2) took the loss for the Brookhaven Bucks. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked four and struck out six.
