A triple gave the OTC Bearcats (4-7) the lead in the eighth inning, and the OTC Bearcats hung on to beat the Berkeley Lake Tides (4-7) 7-6 on Wednesday.

BOYD racked up two RBIs on one hit for the OTC Bearcats. He tripled in the eighth innings.

The Berkeley Lake Tides' lineup had no answer for MATTHEW SEEDORF. The Berkeley Lake Tides managed just two hits off of the the OTC Bearcats' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Kevin Mccoy couldn't get it done on the bump for the Berkeley Lake Tides, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out eight, and allowed four runs.
