The Windward Braves (1-6) were never able to get over the hump and overcome their troubles against the Atlanta Crackers (3-7) on Wednesday, as the Windward Braves fell 4-2 at Norcross High School after falling behind by three runs in the third inning.

The Windward Braves scored two runs in the fourth on an RBI triple by Connor Gilbert and a groundout by Player UnknownN001. Still, the Windward Braves couldn't catch the Atlanta Crackers.

TJ Eifert had a hot bat for the Atlanta Crackers. Eifert went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the third innings.

Brian Stillwell picked up the win for the Atlanta Crackers. Stillwell pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out three.

A bright spot for the Windward Braves in the defeat was Kyle Schnell, who allowed only zero runs while striking out seven.
