The Atlanta Crackers (2-6) had a tough outing on Wednesday, as the Douglasville Bulls (9-1) dominated in a 7-0 win at Norcross High School.
The Douglasville Bulls scored three runs in the third on a single by Brett Wright, a single by Beau Wellborn, an RBI triple by Terrell Jones, , a sacrifice fly by Parker Webster, and a sacrifice fly by Ryan Raper.
Keenan Ivey did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Douglasville Bulls, reaching base three times. He tripled in the fifth inning.
The Atlanta Crackers couldn't get anything going so long as Jeremy Holcomb was on the hill. Holcomb gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out six during his four innings of work.
Jamie Sexton recorded his second win of the year for the Douglasville Bulls. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.
