The Abilene Prairie Dogs (29-43) built an early edge on Thursday, but the Fort Worth Cats (40-33) roared back to steal an 8-4 victory at Walt Driggers Field.
An RBI single by Chad Gabriel gave the Fort Worth Cats the lead in the fifth inning.
The Fort Worth Cats were led by Antoin Gray's hitting. Gray went 3-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the ninth inning.
It was a good day at the plate for the Abilene Prairie Dogs' Joe Weik. Weik went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.
Blake Nation recorded his eighth win of the year for the Fort Worth Cats. He allowed four runs over eight innings. Nation struck out three, walked three and gave up nine hits.
Woods Fines (4-8) took the loss for the Abilene Prairie Dogs. He allowed six runs in eight innings, walked one and struck out three.
