The Rio Grande Valley Whitewings (30-21) beat the McAllen Thunder (17-35) 10-4 on Tuesday thanks to a three-run eighth inning.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to five lead changes in the game.

Leugim Barroso racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings. He singled in the first and third innings and tripled in the eighth inning.

Alberto Reyes pitched lights out for the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings. The McAllen Thunder managed just one hit off of Reyes, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Erinzon Bautista recorded his first win of the year for the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered five hits.

Demetrius Banks ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked one and struck out one.
