After five lead changes in Wednesday's game at Edinburg Baseball Stadium, the Edinburg Roadrunners (60-36) finally pulled out a 6-5 win over the Rio Grande Valley Whitewings (51-44).

Romulo Ruiz had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the first innings, doubled in the sixth inning, and tripled in the eighth inning.

Robert Roth improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Edinburg Roadrunners. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Nick Lenzendorf (3-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
