A seven-run explosion in the seventh inning hoisted the San Angelo Colts (49-42) to an 11-5 win over the Fort Worth Cats (49-42) at Foster Field on Thursday.
The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to four lead changes in the game.
Landon Camp had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He singled in the first and third innings, homered in the seventh inning, and doubled in the fifth and eighth innings.
Alfredo Caballero recorded his first win of the year for the San Angelo Colts. He allowed two runs over one inning. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered three hits.
Kane Holbrooks (3-5) took the loss for the Fort Worth Cats. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out none.
