Tony Skjefte drove in the go-ahead run to give the St. Cloud Rox (21-37) the lead in the ninth inning, as the St. Cloud Rox hung on to beat the Rochester Honkers (24-34) 3-2 on Saturday.

Nick Rau to start the ninth. He then went from first to second on an error. Finally, Skjefte came to the plate with the score tied at two in the ninth inning, and, plating Rau.

Chris Paul was hot from the plate for the St. Cloud Rox. Paul went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, fifth, and seventh innings.

Billy Soule allowed one earned run, seven hits and two walks while striking out six over eight innings of work.

Mike Lukkason paced the Rochester Honkers at the plate. Lukkason went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Adam Maxon improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the St. Cloud Rox. Maxon struck out none, walked none and gave up two hits.

Reid Roper ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed one run.
