The St. Cloud Rox (8-22) and the Rochester Honkers (13-19) passed the lead back and forth five times on Thursday at Joe Faber Field, but in the end the St. Cloud Rox pulled out a 6-5 win over the Rochester Honkers.

The St. Cloud Rox took the lead in the ninth inning and held on for the victory. A wild pitch scored Phil Imholte to give the St. Cloud Rox the lead for good.

Imholte had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the second and ninth innings.

Chad Wallach was solid at the plate for the Rochester Honkers. Wallach went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first and third innings and homered in the seventh inning.

Alex Roberts improved to 2-4 on the year by picking up the win for the St. Cloud Rox. He allowed one run over two innings. Roberts struck out two, walked none and gave up three hits.

Dylan Nelson was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
