The Madison Mallards (10-14) and the Lakeshore Chinooks (11-13) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Madison Mallards that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-0 win at Kapco Park.
Jose Trevino racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Madison Mallards. He homered in the fifth inning.
The Lakeshore Chinooks' lineup had no answer for Danny Sullivan. Sullivan held the Lakeshore Chinooks hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.
Ty Young had three extra-base hits for the Lakeshore Chinooks. He tripled in the sixth inning and doubled in the fourth and ninth innings.
Anthony Marzi got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered seven hits.
