The Willmar Stingers take out the Duluth Huskies with help from Suchy, 8-3

Michael Suchy went 3-3 at the plate as the Willmar Stingers (7-8) took home an 8-3 victory over the Duluth Huskies (9-6) at Wade Stadium on Wednesday.

He singled in the second inning and doubled in the first and third innings.

Scott Lieser shut down the Duluth Huskies while he was on the mound. The Duluth Huskies managed just two hits off of Lieser, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Luke Campbell racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Duluth Huskies. He singled in the fourth inning and tripled in the sixth inning.

Alex Estrella had an impressive outing against the Willmar Stingers' lineup. Estrella held the Willmar Stingers hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out one.

Jonathon Flinn got the win, running his season record to 1-2. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered five hits.

Josh Mooney (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
