McGrath allows no runs to lead the Mankato MoonDogs past the Rochester Honkers 8-0

Kyle McGrath kept the Rochester Honkers (13-19) off the board during his six innings of work and the Mankato MoonDogs (25-7) beat the Rochester Honkers, 8-0.

McGrath allowed four hits, three walks and struck out eight.

Everything was working at the plate for the the Mankato MoonDogs in the fifth. The Mankato MoonDogs' bats caught fire leading to six runs.

Blair Moore put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Mankato MoonDogs. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Elliott Engle was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked two and struck out six.

Moore, Chad Christensen and Drew Stankiewicz helped lead the Mankato MoonDogs. They combined for six hits and five RBIs.
