A walk-off from Jeremy Shay brought home the winning run for the Battle Creek Bombers (2-3) in a 4-3 victory over the Lakeshore Chinooks (3-2) at C.O. Brown Stadium on Sunday.

The Lakeshore Chinooks couldn't get anything going as long as Tom Marra was on the mound. The Lakeshore Chinooks managed just two hits off of the the Battle Creek Bombers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his five innings of work.
Alex Tukey improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Battle Creek Bombers. Tukey struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.
Sam Koenig (0-1) took the loss for the Lakeshore Chinooks. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
