A walk-off solo home run from Mike Lukkason brought home the winning run for the Rochester Honkers (13-19) in a 4-3 victory over the Thunder Bay Border Cats in 10 innings at Mayo Field on Friday.
Lukkason had a hot bat for the Rochester Honkers. Lukkason went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the eighth inning and homered in the tenth inning.
Reid Roper got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed two runs over two innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered one hit.
Tony Viger ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
