Anderson leads the Ontario to 6-4 win over the Saskatchewan

Saturday was a great day for Nolan Anderson, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Ontario (5-0) to a 6-4 victory over the Saskatchewan (3-2) at Midget Parc Henri-Casault in seven innings.

Anderson helped the Ontario take the lead for good in the sixth inning. Chris McQueen doubled to start the sixth. He then went from second to third on a groundout by Preston Carr. Finally, Anderson came to the plate with the score tied at three in the sixth inning, and, scoring McQueen.

The Ontario staved off the Saskatchewan as the Saskatchewan were unable to match the Ontario down the stretch.

The Saskatchewan scored one run in the seventh on a solo home run by Craig McWillie. Still, the Saskatchewan couldn't draw even.

Ryan Beckett racked up seven strikeouts in the the Ontario win. Beckett allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over seven innings.

Aaron Barrett (0-1) took the loss for the Saskatchewan. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

The Ontario were sparked by Sean Refflinghaus and Anderson, who teamed up for three hits and six RBIs.
